A family break to Geneva

Family trips become so much fun when your eldest child finally realises he is going away on holiday and shares your excitement. If you haven’t yet visited Geneva then be prepared to be greeted by the spectacular views of the Lake (Lac Leman) and the Alps. The focal point about this city.

The city is simply calm and serene and the boys loved going for a stroll along Lake Leman’s south bank jetty under the Jet D’Eau. A 140-metre high fountain shooting a plume of water into the air at a rate of 500 litres. Both the boys loved this as well as boat watching and of course spotting the ducks.

The boys loved the Bastions Park, the Botanical Gardens or Baby Plage provide a central oasis of colour and leisure all within easy walking distance of the hotel President Wilson. The boys and Thomas the Tank Engine loved the outdoor swimming pool.

As well as mummy who could relax and have coffee whilst the kids played. It was the perfect get away for a few days with some needed family time, rest and sunshine. Totally broke all the rules on no carbs. 🙂
