We were super excited to find out that The Ivy were coming to Chelsea the Royal Borough and being Royal Mums we had to make a girly afternoon of it. And what a perfect day it was for it. With Spring finally here, the sun was beaming.

As soon as you entered into The Ivy Chelsea Garden you were transported from the hustle and bustle of Kings Road, Chelsea to a calm and scenic environment.  Inside it is beautifully decorated and has an air of relaxed elegance.  Open all day, every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  It has a very easy going menu and there is something for everyone.

We haven’t even come to our favourite part yet, the garden. The ‘secret garden’ is the hidden garden of Chelsea. With an air of elegance with views of the art deco styled restaurant and waterfalls one automatically feels at ease. Simply beautiful, it can seat nearly 100 people and is just so pretty.  We know this will be our favourite summer spot this year.  We settled on afternoon tea, something light with virgin cocktails to cool us down. The courgette frites were to die for.  What makes it even more perfect is that its family friendly. So we will sure to be checking back in with our little one’s.
